Adult Tour Application
Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book our visit?
Please contact us with a minimum of 2 weeks in advance. ESL classes are encouraged to book tours 3-4 weeks in advance as these tours are very popular.
Why book a tour?
Groups are always welcome to visit any of our branches on their own, but to get the most out of your visit, we recommend booking a tour!
What does a tour include?
We tailor tours to suit the needs and interests of each group. Typically, a visit to Brighouse (Main) Branch is 1 hour. You’re also welcome to enjoy the library facilities on your own before or after your tour.
What is the cost of a tour?
Nothing – all tours are FREE!
Can I bring a group for a self-guided tour?
Of course! In this case, please contact the Tour Coordinator in advance to ensure other large tours will not be in the library during your visit. We can also let our staff know you may be stopping at their service desk to ask a few questions.
What days/times are available for visits?
We offer tours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please submit a number of possible dates and times that could work for your group. We can then look at our schedule and find a time that works for everyone.
How can I book a visit for my class?
Fill out and submit the form to the left. One of our staff will contact you shortly!
