Support your library this GivingTuesday – November 30

Richmond, BC – Richmond Public Library invites you to give the gift of literacy on Tuesday November 30 at https://www.yourlibrary.ca/giving-tuesday/. GivingTuesday is a global movement that utilizes social media to encourage individuals to donate to their favourite charities during the holiday giving season. Be sure to follow us on social media at https://www.facebook.com/yourlibraryRichmond/ to learn more. Every donation can change lives – even the smallest amount counts – and we thank you for your generosity.

Similar to 2020, 2021 has been a challenging year for many. The library has responded by providing opportunities for community members to learn and reflect. This year, the library has held over 900 online programs for over 20,000 participants.  From offering mental health and wellness programs to connecting with socially isolated home services customers including homebound seniors, to championing economic recovery with skill-building and job-seeking programs, the library is committed to inspiring and supporting Richmond residents. Financial donations are gratefully accepted and make an enormous impact on the programs and community events that the library offers. The library’s mission is to create opportunities to learn, connect and belong.

Every donation over $10 will be eligible for a tax receipt. Thank you for your support!
